Ceruleus
Takifugu ceruleus is a species of fugu with a unique blue coloration on its fins. Fugu must be precisely carved with a knife so that there is a minute amount of poison in the meat, giving a prickling feeling and numbness on the tongue and the lips. Too many millimeters in the wrong direction, however, results in death instead of delicacy.
On
Saturday, April 21st we will follow up last November's Fuguchill event with another downtempo/midtempo party. This time around, the gathering will take place in the open air outside of Austin. We're honored to have
Bluetech playing his first show in Texas, and happy to have
KiloWatts and
Gift Culture back at another Fugu event.
Be sure to bring lots of stuff to ensure your comfort throughout the night. We strongly suggest that everyone bring camping supplies including tents, flashlights, bug spray, etc. in addition to the usual items such as drinks, snacks, water, and blankets. To maintain a safe and comfortable vibe, you are encouraged to pass the word on to friendly, good-energy people, but please do not post information about our events on any public forums or mailing lists.
Likewise,
admittance is by RSVP only. The RSVP list will be checked at the door. Directions to the location will not be posted on the website and will only be emailed to those that have RSVP'd.
This event is 18+. $15 before 10 pm, $20 after.
Gates open at 3 pm, no entry after 2 am. Bluetech goes on at 1:30 am.
