Lazarus
Takifugu lazarus is a species of fugu that was believed to be extinct since the end of the Cretaceous period, until a live specimen was found off the east coast of Russia near Vladivostok. The species name lazarus recalls the way it was "raised from the dead". This "living fossil" remains very rare and is believed to be endangered.
Weather update: The
National Weather Service reports that Saturday and Sunday will be sunny and clear. Though it rained on Friday, we tarped off the dancefloor so that it won't be muddy. The weather will be perfect.
On
Saturday, March 31st we will mark the coming of spring with an open air psytrance gathering outside of Austin. We're honored to have
Penta, one of our favorite international psytrance producers, joining us for this event.
Be sure to bring lots of stuff to ensure your comfort throughout the night. We strongly suggest that everyone bring camping supplies including tents, flashlights, bug spray, etc. in addition to the usual items such as drinks, snacks, water, and blankets. To maintain a safe and comfortable vibe, you are encouraged to pass the word on to friendly, good-energy people, but please do not post information about our events on any public forums or mailing lists.
Likewise,
admittance is by RSVP only. The RSVP list will be checked at the door. Directions to the location will not be posted on the website and will only be emailed to those that have RSVP'd.
This event is 18+. $15 before 8 pm, $20 after. Gates open at 5 pm, no entry after 1 am.
